Advanced Life Support

Grayslake Fire Protection District services residents with Illinois State Certified Paramedics operating in the Region 10 EMS system. Grayslake Fire Protection District paramedics transport patients to different area hospitals dependent on patients medical needs, patient requests, consent of the resource hospital physician and departmental policies.

Advocate Condell hospital serves as resource hospital for the Grayslake Fire Protection District.

Grayslake Fire Protection District operates four fully equipped Advanced Life Support ambulances and two Advanced Life Support fire engines capable of first response to medical calls or vehicle accidents.
