The Fire Prevention Bureau is also heavily involved in other
programs such as the annual Open House, Grayslake Days, Keep the
Wreath Red Program, Health Fairs, Home Fairs, and the Lake County
Fair.
The Fire
Prevention Bureau has also implemented a free home inspection
program. A thorough home inspection for fire related and safety
problems is conducted. People are also urged to contact the fire
station to set up an appointment to discuss home escape plans and
fire hazards in the home.
