Hard Suction

Hard suction hose is used when hydrants are nowhere near the fire. This hose connects to an engine and is used to take water out of a pond, lake, swimming pool or a portable pool that firefighters bring to a fire. This portable pool allows firefighters to dump water into this pool from large firefighting tanker trucks.
