Rear Compartment

When major car accidents occur, the Hurst tools are used to cut and tear open cars. The tool on the right is the most recognized Hurst tool, sometimes know as the jaws of life, is more traditionally know in the fire service as the spreaders. Left front is the Hurst cutters with a D class extinguisher mounted behind it for flammable metals. Behind the spreaders is the portable power unit which can be carried to a different location if needed.
