Fire Supression

The Grayslake Fire Protection District employs Illinois State Certified Firefighters. All firefighters are required to be trained to a minimum Firefighter 2 level. Firefighters train daily on areas such as Incident Command, Tactics & Strategies, Fire Behavior, Ground and Aerial ladders, Rapid Intervention, Ventilation, Salvage & Overhaul, Smoke Reading, and many more.
